HI, my name is Devin, and I have a boat and a kayak. I am 13 years old, and am wondering if I need to be 16 to drive it or if I need adult supervision. It is just a small dinghy with a 2 stroke, 4 horse outboard, and trolling motor. Thank you!

You will need a State boating Safety Card to operate any craft on waterways . You can study online or take a class , then take the test and get the card . As far as age I believe you have to be 16 years old if the craft has more than 15 HP . The course is good for all operators . Good Luck . WR
