IMG_20190704_084543.jpg Got to the lake about 5:45. My truck is in the shop, so I didn't have my boat with me. Fished from shore used topwater, DS, and finally around 8:40 I tied on a jerkbait and ran it parallel to the dock on the shaded side and WHAM, got this nice 3.5 --4 LB guy. Put up a nice fight too.
Left the lake at 9:00AM Happy 4th to everyone!

Nice bass! Glad you caught a bass and got a chance to fish even they were boat less. Meanwhile...I was fish less and working all day wishing I was retired....ha ha.
Take care my friend and thanks for the July 4th report. See you soon!

Yeah, it was fun to fish from the shore again...not that I didn't miss my boat. :emoji_stuck_out_tongue: Looking forward to hitting Murray! Maybe you shouldn't go on Sunday...less pressure on the fish for Monday... :emoji_innocent:

So if I catch bass the day before....then when we go fishing the next day means they probably won’t bite again......? That is so pretty good thinking ...:) I know mcfish thinks I catch the same fish over and over and they are trained to hit my line. Not true at all. Funny, but one of my buddies years ago swore that because I am half Italian.....when I put a plastic worm on, the fish like the scent and that is why they bite more for me. I laughed, but one time at El Cap he needed a plastic worm and I put one on for him and he caught a bass the very next cast. We both just had to laugh!!!
When you go to Murray you may catch fish or may not.....it doesn’t matter what day it is or who touched the worm...ha ha. :)

Did you see anyone catching Crappie? Had a bunch of shore guys show up today saying they had been catching Crappie. Kinda doubt it, seeing as there were not 200 Crappie fishermen there! Never saw them catch one.
