Just curious if you guys been getting any bonies in the bay yet. Thinking of going to harbor island or some other shore spots in sdb early Saturday morning before I get ready to take my boat out that night. Anyhow thanks and see you on the water, gang.

Thanks , I guess ill have to try down there. Some guy was actually telling me not too long ago that he was getting em in the river mouth over by pepper park on his tube. And on dropshot, kinda odd.

For bonito, start at these exact coordinates,
Long 31'12" Lat 45'33". Bring exactly 3 bobbers and 2 size 16 treble hooks. Pink marshmallows for bait. Await further instructions

Haha that's awesome. Have fun out there. I'm on the final stretch with my boat too. If I can just dedicate a weekend it'll be back to killing fish for me.

In my experience, no fish I've ever caught/hooked has the survival instinct and will to live than a Yellowtail.

If there is kelp, they will purposely dive in it and even get tangled in it to break you off. If there are rocks, they'll dive for them and break you off. I've never lost more of one type of fish in my fishing career, than a yellowtail.

    Just my opinion

aquaholic I love bonito, great game fish and table fare. Honestly all the small tunas are great. The little black skippies, bullet and frigate tunas I catch down south fight like crazy for their size. Not many fish that small that can pull drag off a 9/0.
