Millions of migrants are crossing daily from Mexico without authority, seemingly undeterred by any walls, checkpoints, or documentation requirements. They just go merrily on their way, stopping to enjoy the mild Southern California spring on their way north. These painted ladies are making a mockery out of immigration laws and are simply trading on their beauty to get their way. Where is the outrage?

I caught this one red-handed shamelessly strutting her stuff in my yard yesterday.

A steady stream across my yard for over a week. Funny thing is while they are generally headed North, they seem to follow the lay of the land.

As many butterflies as there are, you need to watch your plants real well for the caterpillars . They are dark brown or black in color and could easily eat up all your plants if their numbers are high.
