Geez this may be a good thing because you guys may not see me as often(what a blessing to many) but for some reason this whole day I’ve not been able to login once into SDFIsh from my home computer. I have an iMac computer and never had any problems via Safari but says it’s not a secure website and will not load up. Anybody have any ideas what to do? I tried a few things and I don’t like to write stories from my phone so if you guys have any suggestions let me know.
    Thanks
    Vinny

I couldn't open the site on my PC, phone and my Mac all weekend. Finally got to it yesterday. Haven't checked the Mac, but the phone and PC are getting the site just fine now, with glitches or errors

Small problem earlier today, but fine now. But then, I'm not an elitist with a Mac! ;)

I on Safari on an iMac now but have had some intermittent issues last few days.

Sometimes I could connect on my iMac but not iPhone, or on iPad but not iPhone, or on iMac but not iPad or iPhone.

Sometimes I could connect with a different browser on the same device. Or connect with Safari if I went through a VPN.

Or it would not load with Safari but would load very slowly with another browser.

Or I couldn't connect with an iPhone on Sprint but could connect with an iPhone on Verizon.

I suspect Kellen's article drew a lot of additional traffic and Safari times out on the connection a little quicker than other browsers.

It won't load. Must be a security preference. Is it trying to load an http instead of https?

I havent been able to log-in since 6/22 when I originally texted you about it...
Then website wouldnt open on any of our devices within the house, thought somehow things got corrupted & sdfish blocked within our home wifi....
I emailed admin today from work but think it was coincidental, came home from work & everything is resolved.

    It’s 11:25 PM and I still can’t get in.
I tried http instead of https and still nothing.
I guess I’m lucky to have a phone but it’s not making things easier when I want to relax and do a fishing report.
    Oh well.....

A couple days ago I got a message for interruption due to upgrading the servers, now it seems back to normal. Perhaps you hit it during the upgrade time?

My computer now works with Safari and I can open the sdfish site now. I put some info on your "Photos?" post.
Hard to explain the whole photo thing......all I know is I cannot now put a pic on directly from my phone as it says the image is too large.

Posting uploads takes up bandwidth and storage space on the website. Posting (copying image) from hosted websites such as Photobucket don't, so they should work fine.

Is this a new change & has to be done now to post pics???
    Not worth the trouble.......
If this is the new way of sd fish, that will lead to even less fish reports w/ pics.....

Several months ago I was not home and posted a thread from my girlfriends house. I wrote the story on her
computer and posted the pics from my phone. Later...when I saw the pics on the sdfish site they were huge.
It was crazy!!! It made a 3lb bass look like it was 13lbs...ha ha. Anyway, I quickly changed the pics after I resent
them to my home computer from my phone. Now, I cannot post pics from my phone directly....but I am used
to sending pics to my computer so I am ok with it. Right now my biggest pain of not being able to log on to
the sdfish site is over...YAY!!! Posting the pics the way I always have done it does not seem too bad as I was
used to it. It does suck doing the extra steps....but I know when you catch some of those hogs out of Jennings...you will find a way to share them. I do not like doing extra stuff either....but heck.....where there is a will, there is a way.
    Tight lines always
