Can you name this lure?

So on a recent trip to lake perris, my sister finds this crankbait, looking as new as could be, but stuck in an isolated tree in the water right at the water line. Now the water has been falling steadily for the last couple of months so its no surprise that we found this lure and a few others. But the paint and overall quality of this particular crankbait looks so well done and with no markings of any sort indicating the make or model of it, my curiosity was piqued. Searched all over the web with no matches. It does seem sorta familiar tho. It did also occur to me that it could be a custom crank. Anyone know anything?

Okay we're getting somewhere with this suggestion. It seems to share the same bill shape, although body shapes are not quite the same. Similar, but the back end of the griffon terminates almost to a point.

Fishfinatic, Megabass makes several different shaped lures.

I can see a couple of lures with that shape when I google megabass and scroll and click around for a while...even one with that same eye shape (but a different color)...but when I click on the image, it sends me into international ebay hell with a giant directory and no info on that lure. So....

Why not just email Megabass? Tell 'em you got one of their lures as a gift (sorta true) and it really works great. Send 'em a pic. Ask if they still make that one.

If it's a knockoff they'll tell you. If it's discontinued, they'll tell you. If it's one that's only sold in Japan...I dunno. And if it's a super secret prototype that one of their pro staff lost at the lake, they will pay you thousands of dollars to recover it and keep the concept from being stolen by a competitor.

Thanks for the idea. Maybe I'll do that. That last possibility sure does sound appealing haha
