Pretty good day yesterday for the Chargers! Nobody was added to the injured reserve, no turnovers were committed, and they did not lose!!!

You are giving them far too much credit. The injury reports for the week haven't yet been released. I'm sure at least one of them injured himself at home.

The Chargers need a new coach, 8 and 18 the last season and half.

But they spent time working out their deal with the Rams to make the move to LA.

I don't think the Spanos want to share a stadium with the Rams. I see the Raiders moving more then the Chargers

I don't think they want to either. But at this point, they really don't have much other choice. And there were reports that they've been working on the agreement with the Rams since the vote failed. So I think it's pretty much a reality at this point.

I think they would rather share a stadium with the Rams than continue to try to play in Qualcomm. And the citizens of the city of San Diego have now said pretty clearly that they won't approve a new stadium in San Diego.

Unfortunately, only the City got to vote on C not the County. I have a large group of friends who are charger diehards and none of us had a say.

I agree Kellen, we have to figure out something outside the City. But I have zero confidence in SD politics and the voter thought process.

Kellen, Chula Vista and Escondido were places to build a stadium years ago. Traffic in Chula Vista was the problem. Escondido didn't have enough land for a stadium. They wanted to raise property taxes to pay for it.

If Spanos has the 550 million to pay relocation fees and the NFL is going to give them 350 million for help with a stadium.....they can damn sure afford to pay for their own stadium. This entire thing is a joke. 900 million is more than enough...if the spanos have to toss in a couple more...they can do it. They just want the city to pay. If the city pays then the chargers rent it from the city just like theynwill have to from LA's owners. The San Diego city gets parking, consessions and rent money and chargers get ticket sales only if they are not paying for the stadium. Not some, not half, all. I persoanlly dont mind seeing them leave. And I follow them every week. I still fish and DVR the game. i can do that no matter where they play. Just saying...

I don't see the problem of re devoloping the spot they already have. The bears did it not to many years ago.I have not researched this at all but it sounds like common sense.

Dean Spanos want to build the stadium downtown. There will be lawsuits for 7 years or longer building a stadium downtown. Mission Valley is the best place for the stadium. In Jan will the Chargers move to LA?

The Chargers have been in last place since October of 2015.

Its not about where, its about whos paying for it. They should be able to get through many hurrdles down town from Petco already being there. Same basic place... same environmental issues. They were addressed then. Mission Valley is a nice spot as well... there will most likely be more environmental issues there as they have not built on that ground in over 60 years... my feelings still are the Chargers need to pay for it and make it very appealing for the City. What happened in the past is done. The Chargers showed their hand last year and got beat badly by the NFL owners. None of the owners want them in LA even if there are talks and ideas floating. Its all symantics to allow them to try to figure out how they are going to stat in SD.

Good, tired of them bouncing back and forth. Spanos wanted Downtown real estate, the residents of the city said FU and now he is going to throw a tantrum and hope we give in. Re-develop the current location and pay for it yourself, IDGAF anymore.
