Got out to the San Diego bay around 2pm and the weather was crazy. Wind was blowing hard and the smelt weren't around. Luckily after a little while the sun started to show up and the smelt became more active however they were deep so I couldn't use a smelt net and had to resort to the sabiki rig. My dad and I filled up 2 buckets of bait and tried some spots for halibut. The day was worse than last week. I missed a few runs and only caught a spotty and a lizard fish. My dad caught about 4 spotties and a corvina.

I thought if you lip a corvina, they bite your neck and suck out your blood. Then you turn into one.
