To the AGW folks why did they drop go from 7000 temp recording stations to 1500? They picked the ones that support there religion.

No matter how you spin it, she's always managed to repair herself just fine. Based on the fact that this planet reconfigures itself PRN without any help from us, it appears a safe bet that she will continue to do so long after we're gone. That being said, I don't believe that fact absolves any of us from the way we've treated her, but it does assure us that everything will be okie dokie tomorrow, the sun will once again rise and set, and we can go on living the high life with our narcissistic selves on social media.

Can you dispute any of the facts in the artical or do you just discount anything that questions your faith?

Shocking stuff.. scientists paid by government in some power hungry grab for tax dollars and government power contradict private sponsored researchers hoping to squeeze a few more billion dollars out of consumers, while the real issues go ignored. Both sides are guilty as hell of picking data to support their respective wallets, to hell with some future where none of it will matter. It is all just corruption, bait and switch tactics, or pure nonsense...

One thing cool about Sdfish is that we can debate without it devolving into name calling. Just saying that’s pretty cool.

So, what are the "real issues" we're ignoring?

Uhh.. you mean like the impending extinction of humanity? Or the fact that our kids or grandkids will see an event NEVER WITNESSED on this planet, ever? And the timetable for this event that won't be news until it happens has universally been moved up, steadily over the course of decades by nearly everyone who has studied it? WTH is some stupid gun legislation or two degrees of air temperature compared to mass extinction of humanity? Dog azz knee, cow shi I no?

Trying to follow you here, (really). How does this mass extinction occur? I can think of a couple of scenarios, but I want to make sure I'm understanding your point.

If you Google earth's mass extinction it seems that climate change will be the culprit here. I'm not taking one side or the other here. We've come along ways, anyone remember the 1950's when it hurt to take a deep breath?
What would it hurt to cut back on CO2 emissions they did it with the aerosal spray cans for the ozone layer. You never know until you try something.
People don't like using fossil fuels, others dislike solar panels taking up land space, then other people don't like nuclear because of the waste.
Anyone willing to give up their vehicles to help save the planet?

Sometime in the next fifty to one hundred years, depending on whose numbers you believe, a person will be born, most likely in Subsaharan Africa, according to what I have read. This person will herald the beginning of the end of everything humanity has ever known or worked for, because, starting at his/her birth, human population will start to decline. The free ride we have been on since A+E or we evolved from the cave man (or whatever you believe) has the distinct possibility to come crashing to a halt, particularly if those predictions saying humanity will decrease in population faster than it has risen (scary shi, just think about what that would mean, for a second) are correct. As the cheap labor pool shrinks, this will have a huge number of impacts, from food production, to G and S, mining, etc.. And that is before you consider the thinking resources, energy production, etc etc.. and no politician, no scientist, no talking heads, no lobbyists are talking about it.. wonder why.. oh yeah, there is no money in it for anyone. That's why I never watch the news, they are just paid liars. What you see on TV or anywhere else has been straight up paid for, every scientific study, every poll result, every time you have heard a politician speak, without exception.. of course, meteorite impact, famine, plague, war, etc could easily take us first, if you prefer that theory... Never know, the Bible could have the real scoop anyway
