Contour maps of Lake Murray?

    Anyone know of a free contour map of Lake Murray?
    I would like to find an online map that shows the underwater topography of the lake to help me narrow down the best spots to fish from the bank.

    Not contour, but I've had some luck with the points by the baseball fields.

    I've had most luck out of San Carlos. How far are you casting? I generally use 3/8-3/4 oz for dropshot.

    That is funny......I recognized it and starting thinking ...hey I think I caught some bass in those areas before...ha ha

    There are good shore spots at Murray, but most people will look at these areas and just walk by without consideration. Try the spots that don't look good.

    The contour is simple...it's basically a bathtub with arms! I've seen it practically empty, not much down there! Points, tulles, weedbeds, and a few rocks..that's about it! I grew up fishing it in the 60s from shore..there's definitely some hot spots from shore! The tulles weren't a factor back then..Vinnybass was lost back then.....!
