    Just finished putting together pdf of available reservoirs/lakes San Diego County/Riverside County/San Bernardino County. I live Fallbrook, son-in-law Wildomar. Amazed by number of opportunities. Any specific lake(s) you recommend for fly shore fishing for bass? Intend to do boat rental too, but great to try shore first.

    hodges dixon wohlford sutherland henshaw skinner perris are all fairly close to you
    it would always be easier from a boat
    a lot will depend on how much room you need to fly fish
    and all the lakes are crowded now
    if you are comfortable getting on a rock or wading a little
    and side casting or roll casting they are all doable
    if you need a big open area then very few city lakes are set up for that
    thats why you go to the sierras and trout fish
    and a float tube is great to fly fish from
