I've heard that cuyamaca has been stocked pretty well recently.

Any part of the lake that's good shore fishing for trout in particular? I'm not very familiar with the lake besides having driven by a few times.

Always done well on the ****, by the Handicap dock. They tend to congregate in that corner. Not sure if they are social distancing right now!

I fished there Monday, fishing was slow for most, beautiful morning tho, saw a herd of 8 deer right at the turn coming into the lake. They have stocked heavy so theres lots of fish, Monday was warm. Heading back friday.

No, but that long curved jetty points to the area I was talking about.

I am heading up tomorrow myself - decided to take a rare day off in the week
Tubing with the fly rods - just need to wind not to act up
The area circled on the map all the way into the corner past the dam (pumphouse cove) is usually good -
when they are not, keep moving until you find them
Trout in a stream can almost always be food in the same spots (feeding lanes)
Trout in a lake always move -
