An exaggeration, but the water level is dropping fairly quickly! As old mud and vegetation is exposed a stench arises! Fishing ,for me, stinks as well. Been a month since I caught anything over 3 pounds. That drought continued this morning. Only a few more weeks and another year will be in the books. Praying for rain!

Sad! I hope we get lots of rain this winter....I guess I should pray for rain rather than hope for it. :)

.........or....@mcfish can do a few rain dances that might help.

If you know the lake these pics will tell the story:
This rock pile was 6' under in March.

Only the tips of these trees were visible on the opener.

I know that rock pile that is out of water in the pic is not officially my rock pile(I do not own it)but I think that is my rock pile....ha ha. I caught a lot of bass and broke off some nice bass when that rock pile was underwater. This is really sad how low the lake is getting.

When the island near the dam and the isthmus are both out of the water, the lake is low.

Indeed, same pile of rocks! Easy to see how some fish called it home.

Probably my favorite level! I see your favorite rock to the left pic!

The treetops on that drive-on island are just starting to appear.

That’s sad, I don’t remember seeing the reason e lake to be that low?
I know I’ve heard the Hodges reason, has that lake ever been that low before?

Even if the lake fills up, the city will drain it off to fill San V since they spent all that money to make San V an emergency water storage lake.. Without a big rainy season, I don't see alot of hope for DK!

Again very sad news about Sutherland and I have a feeling I’m going to see you at Lake Murray more often........Actually you did not fish Murray for 2 years... but you have already fished it three times this year.
It’s nice to see you coming all the way down here from Ramona to fish with us city folks. :)

    Donald and Kiefer
(Father and son Actors with the last name Sutherland)
So instead of saying the name of the lake...D & K is code for the lake. They don’t want too many of us city folks up there ... ha ha

    What fool thought of that???
Yes, that low and lower... many times. Also much higher! Launched just behind the bathrooms one year. Way high! Lake record came out when it was barely a puddle. 16+ pounds. No it was not ML.
