Silverside with picture I was referencing:
I think they both look pretty good. I'm thinking maybe on the silverside there should be a little chartruse in it somewhere. I'm not sure though, I've never actually seen a silverside, only in pictures.
They look great do you fish cranks in the bay if so any info you could give me?
That tilapia looks spot on to the ones I've seen.
I thought the same thing, but I don't use the phrase "spot on" cause I'm a man. I've never said this about any lure before, but...you should put red hooks on that tilapia crankbait.
if u put a red fin on it like u did with the old shad colors and put some red hooks on it it would be legit.
In the picture of the minnow it looks like the photagrapher was trying to capture the blue stripe. You matched the picture realy well but.....That pic is not a good referrance for Silverside. Silver sides are very silvery at most angles. I think you should do a light coat of silver pearl over the sidesof the bait and then reaply a thin light stripe of the top color.
You should still be able to see the blue line and white belly if held at the right angle but the overall aperance would be more silver. You are a nutural at this. Your stuff looks good and you picked it up fast.
Something you should play with, try shooting from different angles especialy pearls and highlights and you can create some cool efects.
Thanks Matt, I will definitely give your suggestions a try!
