2018-02-17 11.51.49-1.jpg 2017-11-22 06.20.31.jpg After checking the tides I launched again my yak from the little beach at SI and headed toward the cat Angel wind to score 6 SSB before 7 A.M. All nice ones 13 to 15 inches. By morning colors I was at the mouth of SL to catch 16 more bass and one short halibut Then around 11 A.M. it got windy and I paddled back to the little beach to go home. After dragging my yak across the sand I was ready to go down and help the workers finish the launch ramp. It was a fun trip and I beat the afternoon traffic on Rosecrans Yay. I thinking of trying some new spots to target some larger halibuts any suggestions where they might be? The SSB are everywhere my FW rods and reels are calling out to me saying " Robo we miss you buddy and Santee Lakes is just across the street. Have a great weekend and good fishing to you all. Robo

I'd try south of the Coronado bridge in the flats. Seen some big Halis come outta there!
