I went surfing today and caught my first corbina. Not a bad one too. And I caught a micro one as well. So 2 total. On some sand crabs. I went with friends and they caught 1 ray, I leapoard shark, 1 shovelnose guitar fish and 4 other corbina. Great day.

That's a great first corbina. You'll find yourself addicted very fast. Congrats!

Great catch! Catching anything this past weekend wasn't easy. Glad you and your crew had success.

Yeah. I wish I just had 1/2 oz egg sinkers instead

I hear ya. I always thought it would be cool if they made square egg sinkers so they wouldn’t roll in the surf as bad. I’ve been using 1/2 oz. pyramid weights on the Carolina rig to help with the rolling etc.

Try smashing or pinching the egg sinkers into an oval with pliers if possible that will help out rolling in the surf
