Was in a WFO Yellowfin bite yesterday. Some how we misplaced our needle nose pliers.

So I lipped a 20lb class YFT trying to remove the circle hook perfectly set in the corner of its mouth......

Ouch! Not gonna say it was a big mistake cause you gotta do what you gotta do, with what you have.......

Don’t try it if you can help it, unless you have leathery Werfless hands.......

BTW, we found the needle nose pliers at the bottom of the bait tank. We couldn’t see it cause the bait lasted the whole day.....

That's actually not too bad.... I would've thought your hand would've gotten ripped up a lot more than that!

Halibut. No joke. I got a just legal one and went to lip it. Didn’t even think about what I was doing. My buddy watched and thought. I had some special technique. I didn’t. It but down on my thumb and I bled everywhere.

Whenever I lose my needle nose or ****s, the first place I look Is
the bottom of the bait tank.
    It’s usually there! LOL

It was. But we didn’t find it until we emptied the bait tank at the end of the day.
