I need some advice/help/direction. I have a bunch of fishing gear, rods, reels, tackle that I don't use anymore.
Nothing really special, just stuff I used to fish with some years back.

I would like to donate them to some worthy cause, youth, veterans, etc. I just don't want to toss them if someone can get some use.

I live out in east county by Lake Jennings, I called the local fishing supply shops but they don't have any need for it or advice as to what or who I could contact.

If anyone wants a specific list let me know.

I also have two Great Lakes Whirlaway rod/reel. They are around 70 years old and work fine. Prolly should post these on the for sale forum...

What type of gear? Fresh, salt? Friends of Rollo is another org and Fisherman's Landing is a drop off spot.

Pretty much fresh water gear. I would prefer someone out in east county, or someone to pick up out here. I don't really care who gets it. Ideally I would just like someone to get some use out of it. I don't want to trash it.

I can post specifics if someone wants, but with the exception of the Whirlaways it's all standard stuff.

I see. ECBT might be another drop off location for Rollo out in Lakeside. But there's always plenty of youngers on here looking for a deal as well.

I called them. They didn't want it and had no suggestion as to who would. But like i said, I just want someone to get some use outta it.

Before the SHTF my son was organizing a fishing club at his high school. Would be more leg work to call/look around but a chance you could keep it more local. Always good karma to hook up the kiddos. :emoji_innocent:
