rana "I have NO credible knowledge that this is in any way true. Try and imagine what it would be like for someone to try and change your sexual orientation."

What I'm trying to say is that society has its pressures for people to be straight such as an only son or daughter. Their parents want them to reproduce to continue the family tree. There was a senator that had a wife and 2 kids that came out. He coulda been bi or he coulda been gay and suppressed to be straight. You have an understanding of genetics and the bell curve so the situation that I stated is plausible among 7 billion people.
Theres also the opposite where parents are making decisions for their kids and giving them hormone blockers.

Reproduction for Gay's and Lesbian's is certainly not an issue.

Yea the left hasn't shown it cards to lean toward socialism. They claim capitalism is destroying the earth there for we shall regulate it into non existence. All while companies like the one al gore owns use these numbers to force cap and trade. They could not force cap and trade if thetvcan not demonize oil companies. The oil companies don't need propaganda to sell ther product. They actually create something we use. Who gains the most by distorting the numbers?

What “make America great again” means is make white men dominate again, they have a dependent wife and children and they have been dethroned by the system. The Capitalist has dethroned them but you don’t see that on tv. They’re very angry, they’ve been dispossessed.

It depends on your perspective. Certainly it would seem that way to some people, but to others, it means "get the country back to work" and "lower homelessness and crime rates". I think capitalism has "dethroned white men"--to use your words--only insofar as white men make up the majority of the middle American workforce. Outsourcing to third world countries took care of that. Wouldn't you be a little peeved if you saw all your job opportunities dwindle away before your eyes?

I think some Atheists are actually Agnostics, and I believe the ones that are out in the open, trying to talk folks out of believing in God, are not Atheists at all ... they are people that are angry at, or hateful of God!

It has become its own religion!

I'll change my mind if you can tell me how anything can come from nothing, much less the entire Cosmos. That said, I do believe that believing in a God that Christian & Judeo world believes in, it does require a leap of faith for some more than others, however, it is not "blind" faith. It is based to some respect on history & reason.

The only answer would be the church, God established on earth. The church that wrote and formulated the Bible and was told it would stay in "truth until the end of the world." The teachings of the early church and the New Testament Canon they gave us, is the fulfillment of the Old. It abolished the "Old Laws" and made new ones. That Church with all of its bad people was promised by God to be free of corruption (not by people, but by its official teachings).

Mankind knows what is right and what is wrong. Its called the "Natural Law." No one on the planet can change this, however, you would never know it today.

I think the Big Bang Theory is the most reasonable answer to the question of "How did all this get here?" that I've heard so far. But I hear your point, and acknowledge that it still takes a 'leap of faith', in a way, for one to put his stock in science--at least when it concerns giant questions such as this one. Likewise, I'll change my mind if you can prove to me that an omnipotent and omniscient being is responsible for creation.
Also, did I use the words "blind faith"? if so, then my mistake. Didn't mean to suggest that every religious person is ignorant or intentionally ignores evidence, or anything like that.

Matt, tell me why you believe the "Big Bang'' is reasonable?

I wanted to add that I did not say you mentioned "blind faith." I do not see blind faith in a ''creator'' as being absent from the belief that everything exists, including life itself from a single point or spec or primordial soup. Why? Because that single spec, point or perfect 'mix' of ingredients, much less any ingredient at all can possibly exist on their own. They must have come into existence somehow since science tells us that something cannot come from nothing.

One other thing. I find that science & faith are compatible, with that the "Big Bang Theory" actually makes the ''Creator God'', even more likely. That one spec or point was Him!

You sir are angry and manipulated. Good luck in life. We voted for Trump because we know how great America can be and we had 8 years of Obama telling us our best times are behind us. A stagnant economy was the "new norm" according to the left. Maybe make America great referee to the 1980s not the 30s.

I agree to the extent of the word Fool. Matthew 5:22, Jesus cautions us in using that word with a pretty server consequence. Other than that, preach on brother!
