Expanded PVC baits

    These are all made from Expanded PVC which i find much easier to work with that wood, plus the pvc is waterproof so you dont have to seal the bait during testing. I use whats called a "photofinish" to skin the bait, which is just a fish picture printed out on sticky back label paper then covered in epoxy.

    I really like the idea behind the realistic finishes. Those that resemble catfish are an interesting idea, also.

    I've caught lots of good size bass on the bluegill and catfish lures, I never get a chance to use the trout lures because i only fish CoRiv and AAC

    Swimster, Is there a seller of this PVC that you could recommend? And can you buy it in blocks or does it just come in sheets? I just glanced at a couple of sites and saw it was mainly thinner sheets. I was thinking about buying some wood for carving, to mess around with a bait or two but this seems like a nice alternative. Any info is much appreciated.

    sd plastics has it in sheets, but check the scrap bin for smaller pieces

    How do u put the hardware in to hold the hooks and line tie ? If u don't mind me asking .. Thanks
