Yeah buddy, finally had a decent session in MB after a couple of sessions worth of mediocrity or downright failure. Been hoping to catch some giant smelt at dana, but darn few and far between, though there are certainly quite a few smaller ones around. Double surgeon loop with number ten trebles baited with YT skin is what did the damage. Ended up with two bigger jobs and a few dozen of the smaller ones, guess I will be calico fishing before long (yay... gag), but whatever, at least I have bait, managed to hook most of them in the mouth even, lol.. fun little session for sure, hell, even caught a couple of THOSE.. Fun fun

Still pretty mediocre, hell of a lot better than I have done the last few weeks though for sure, lol.. one of the spotties was waiting in the dark, and when I snagged a smelt (apparently? Didn't feel a thing, so I dropped it back), he must have darted out/up and grabbed it. Only reason it got the photo op is because it was clamped onto the treble and not letting go, so I snapped one quick, lol

Which of the vermin clan do you think fights the hardest? I can never decide.
