    Classic.
Personally I like some habureno and mango in mine. You get spicy, sweet, and the tart from the limon.

I love how people being concerned over harvesting of a fairly local and not incredibly common fish make them "butthurt"

Anyone that has spent considerable time fishing for corvina or fishing in SD knows that the numbers of large corvina have diminished drastically and that those 24inch plus fish are a rarity now so don't come at me because you're mad at being called out.
Whatever happened to enjoying and protecting our resources for others to enjoy?

I don't think you have any idea of how sustainability works. Shortfin corvina are one of the fastest growing fish in our waters reaching sexual maturity at 2 years with a life span of about 10. They are pretty common even into south Orange County. This idea that you have that they are rare and I am doing harm to the fishery by keeping a few is absurd. You claim that a 24 incher is rare. There isn't anything under 20 in the surf or in Mission Bay right now. Only place I am seeing any small fish is in San Diego Bay. In fact there are so many it's making it hard to catch a decent one. Ill watch a nice one follow my bait in and before it can even get close enough to strike, a little rat will come out of nowhere and eat it. The only thing unsustainable about a Shortfin Corvina is the fact that they are so fragile and unless you are using a single barbless hook and releasing them in the water trying not to squeeze the fish in any way, there is no point to releasing them. I haven't even purposely killed that many this year been throwing most of them back.

I don't get it.. we should "protect" one species for the 50 guys who kill more than a limit every day fishing for them is good? Such an odd thing. Especially since most corv hunters after big fish use wake baits with giant barbed trebles, seems to me. Then, when one of these "God's gift to fishing" types take pictures of the poor corv out of water so they can release the thing, only to have it die later... Yeah

Has to do with whoever is trying to pick a fight over a bunch of nonsense. I remember a BD post years ago about some guy trying to get regulations passed to protect corvs... So dumb.. reminds me of the old size limit for bocaccio.. stupid nonsense that cost fish lives and didn't help anything
