Hello everyone! I’m planning on heading out to Jennings tomorrow morning with a friend from work. Anyone been out there lately? How was the bite? Last time we went we both skunked. I think we’re going to try and target both bass and trout. Still looking for my first LMB! Spotties all day in the bay lol. Anyways any advice or reports would be awesome! As always tight lines and keep em wet!

Good plan.. don't remember what colors are supposed to work there.. vague memories of a guy using Aaron's magic robos? Good luck when you go

In between trying to find some bass.. slow troll the smallest yellow Rooster Tail for trout.. that can be money when the time is right.

I like roboworms on a drop shot down deep there, for bass. For trout, half moon cove or siesta cove with yellow hookup baits or anything else yellow are my go to there.

Well sad to report we both got skunked with not 1 bite. I swear we tried everything lol! I guess I’ll stick to fishing the bay for a while. Tight lines

The Little ones take the smoke better. The big ones would have too if i would have filleted them but i was too lazy to do that. They were very thick. Could have put a golf ball between their eyes.

Try swimbaits in early morn and afternoon next time. Saw big bass chasing trout shallow during the first stock.
