Ok, we are finally doing this! Announcing Flotation Nation, a float tube club designed to give us tubers a chance to fish together and compete against each other. With the creation of the club, we also bring you the 2B2R (tubetour), a series of three tournaments with a champion announced at the end of the series.

A couple of things: You have to join the club to enter any of the tourneys. The fee is only $5 for the year (calendar year like your license), and 100 percent of that will go to the tour champion. You only have to pay that once to compete in any or all three events. NONE OF US ARE MAKING MONEY OUT OF THIS. Any money you pay will go back to the winners of the events and tour.

For details on the rules and how prize money will be awarded, check out the site.

    www.flotationnation.9f.com

Enter the site, then click on the 2B2R logo at the bottom to download the rule sheet.

Sorry in advance for all the ads & popup windows, we are not making any money out of this so we don't have money to put into it. Also, the site is still under construction and some functions of the site may not work. It will be constantly updated for the near future until it's fully functional.

The first event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at Lake Murray. If we issues with the date or venue it may change, depending on the feedback we get.

This should be really cool. I don't think I am going to be able to make the first one on the 25th but I am sure there will be plenty of guys interested. Again, great job on the website, this could be pretty awesome.

Oh yeah, just to clarify... You have to pay the membership once, as well as a $10 entry fee for each event. The entry fee goes 100 percent to the winner(s) of that tourney. The number of places paid depends on how many participants there are.

So the membership is like your license, and the entry fee is like your permit.

Hey Scott, great job on laying out a format that is simple and makes sense. Any idea where the other tourney locations will be?

How do you go about counting the fish? is it on the honor system or bring'em in on a stringer? I love the idea but just had some questions.

Sounds awesome! Just recently have started float tubing for LMBs and love a good "SoCal sleigh ride"! Checked out the site and looks great... couple questions though... how do you pay to join the club and anyone have suggestions on live wells ie which are the best for tubes, where can you get one, can you apply one to your tube? All info helpful... bend 'um brothers!

We have home made livewells/cage.(easy to make) We weigh in just like other clubs. best five fish. with a big fish option.
It cost about 5 bucks to make a livewell if you don't already have the stuff. If you need help with one shoot me a pm. I might be able to make a few.
