Just got the tube and waders ordered after MONTHS of research but cannot decide on the fins. What is a good fin to go with stocking foot waders?

I looked at tons of cheap ones and the force fins which are waaaaay over priced.

    Help!

I bet you get some good push with those. I had another friend tell me he uses diving fins rather than the normal float tube fins.

yes i do!was with a friend he had force and the current kicked up like a mug!we got stuck pretty far from shore.when we kicked to get back in,i dont know if it was from the strength in my legs lol i think from the fins and my friend was a football field away.they work great and the price around 39 dollars!

I might step up to those myself. Thanks for the report man. Maybe I'll see you out on the bay sometime soon.

I like Churchill dive fins, but that's just me. They seem to stay on better than the adjustable models. Dave Davey

I got the Force Fins and can tell you that they are not worth half the price. Comfort and durability is awesome but they won't move you any faster than the $39.99 Creek company Fins. My buddy and I started kicking back to shore at the same time and everytime I looked back he seemed to get smaller. By the time I got back to shore he was already done packing his stuff into the truck. Do yourself a favor and just get the Thruster/Creek Company fins(not the step in kind).

If your ordering diving open heel fins, for many people you will want to order a size smaller. They are meant to be worn with bulky diving boots. They are also really wide, so if you have wide feet they will be a good option.

I found a great pair of diving fins at a swap meet for $10.00 which I use when I hit Tidelands.

Can you ft your vipers over your waders?

What do you free dive for, spearfishing? If so, I'm trying to find a good spot for pole spearing.
