Both of the cats are nice. ODC 420 is a good one too. There's a guy on eBay that sells them new. I got mine for 110 bucks shipped.

It depends on how you fish , if you flip a lot go round if not go u tube . The round ones are a lot harder to get in and out of , but I prefer them for fishing the way I fish.

Round tubes are fine, I owned a couple of them in the past. The biggest difference with U and V tubes is that they're just easier to get in and out of. Also with V tubes, most have foam or inflatable seats that get you higher out of the water. Lots of benefit to that, although I miss resting my elbows on the tube.

My Caddis is perfect...The elbow rest is a plus... Theyre usually priced around hundo for a u tube...but 110 for the 420 is where u should b lookin

I have a Caddis U shaped tubed. I think it's called the Nevada.... It's dark green and black. Bought it online for around $110. I'm on my second pair of waders but the tube has held up just fine with no leaks or holes. I googled cheap float tubes and found it. This was a little over two years ago. Good Luck. If you have the cash I would go with the 420 or the fat cat... they seem to be more comfortable with the seat and you sit higher out of the water.

I have an inflatable pontoon boat (actually I have 2) and I absolutely love it. Something to consider if you don't want to be sitting IN the water the whole time. It's cool because it has a trolling motor option, portable fish finder, and I also added a 7 inch seat pedestal and swivel to the seat as well so I'm higher in the water and I can swivel around when I'm fighting a fish.

I was just at Sports Chalet in Mission Valley this morning and they had 3 FishCat 4's for $189.99. Not a screaming deal but a good tube if you want it now.
