    • Hillary would have been waaaay worse. Unless, of course, if you are an immigrant or seeking asylum, or an African American or from a chithole country, or a woman, or someone who needs healthcare, or someone who breathes air or drinks water..

Yeah...because other than choosing to be offended by everything all those folks' lives are so much worse than they were 2ish years ago...NOPE!

Again, what has actually made your life worse since the election? What are these drastic changes that have happened in your life other than your budt hurt that we're not a step closer to socialism?

Every ridiculous comment makes me love Trump that much more. I'm so convinced I made the right choice. Moving on, moving on.

Man you ain't kidding. This dude is the most hateful person I've personally ever interacted with. For some reason, he enjoys being a bald faced liar and spewing non sense about issues that his only source is other freedom hating would be oppressors disguised as "progressives"...what a crock...

Remember how/when the progressive movement started? It was Ted Roosevelt back in the 19-teens or so, running for a third-party. What happened to THOSE progressives?

That may be true but again what is so drastically different in your life since he took office? What in your life has gotten do terrible since then?

He definitely is "unconventional" and doesn't seem to really care about your feelings. I probably wouldn't enjoy having a beer with him. However, sometimes it takes someone who isn't worried about hurting feelings to get stuff done.

ALL of you liberals are just stuck in feelings paralysis. You've been so enamored with your favorite career politicians and their hypocrisy that you just can't see past any of it. You all want your politicians to BS you. Just as long as your feelings are catered to, you're happy. It doesn't matter what gets done as long as you're being told what you want to hear.

Just copy and paste this in YouTube search "Malcom X: White Liberals and Conservatives" and it will explain exactly what I'm talking about. mikecheck1212 , this part is more for robbiesmith25 and salt water guy and rana than it is for you based off of posts but it holds true.

Why do I have to be in my feelings to recognize a dueshhh? And why do you keep on insisting people explain their dislike for the president with a caveat of “right now”? Right now my country is being ran by a dueshh...whose policies(the few he’s got through) will take affect down the line...don’t mean we can’t call them out now..but life goes on right..and we can’t speak on em till they affect us..haha...f that..imma call it like I see it...it’s about the character of a person..and trump has done enough to show his character..put politics aside for one minute...I know that may be hard for some of you..but I guarantee most of you folks would not want to be around a regular person that acted they way trump does...but you want this dude to run the country...a big win for you guys is the nfl thing...sounds like some feelings to me...I constantly hear “I like trump cause he says things and doesn’t care who he upsets”...no...you like trump cause you’re a right winger regardless, and he says things that don’t piss YOU off...

Just to add, for the last 5 years nothing’s changed for me but my income and my living situation all in the positive regardless of who the president is...that’s usually how it goes...people have long debates about the president..but none of them have ever made me richer...I do that my self..but yeah...trump is a due-shh

A 1963 speech by Malcom X? References to Elijah Muhammad? All this wrapped in “what’s so bad about Trump?” RS – you’re entertaining. I’ll give you that…

He asks, “what do the black masses want?” I seriously doubt it’s what conservative politicians are peddling these days. And in your home state no less… Purging thousands of people from voter rolls, schemes of voter suppression, extreme gerrymandering, etc. And just take a wild guess who the conservatives in power, (R’s) were targeting with these efforts…

Back to 2018 – I’m more inclined to listen to contemporaries such as William Barber II for enlightened views on race and politics.

I wish the government, whether D or R, or L, or G, or P&F (or you name it) would serve its purpose and that's it - no more, no less. Run the military, don't raise taxes and lie about it, uphold the constitution. It doesn't need to be so convoluted. It shouldn't be so massive and powerful, dominating the news 25 hours/day, 8 days/ week. You know what I REALLY wish (haha) is if I could invest money into it the way I can with the NYSE. The government started so small and has evolved into this giant machine, 10,000 fold from where it started. Imagine the returns if your stock jumped 10,000 times. I guess my point is, when it comes down to it, I have zero faith in what the government tells us vs. what actually happens. The bickering between the average Joe and the every day citizen is manufactured by the parties as a distraction. Don't you guys think there's more going on with the government than Kim K in the oval office and potus talking about kneeling athletes? That $hyt is aaalllll placed on a hook and baiting the public to focus on crap that doesn't matter because in the meantime we're being robbed for the money we've EARNED. How many times you think a car is bought/sold in it's lifetime before ending up in a junkyard? 5X? 10X? Sales tax is paid to the gov't every damn time it's sold, you telling me that's ok? That's just one example. GTFO of my life, big brother. Stop fighting each other you guys, we need to do something about this gov't, no matter who's in that office. There's some new food for thought.

I happen to agree with all of this.

That is precisely the catalyst behind my question of what is so bad nowadays...

Well I keep insisting because you folks keep on insisting that everything is sooooo bad and it's all the President's fault. So I ask that for clarification of what you mean. Basically, the repetitive answer is that you guys just don't like him, which means nothing is different and you're all just bytching and whining.

I'll say again that I am by no means a "Trump guy" but he is our President and he's got a job to do. It's an extremely tough job that takes someone who will at least get in there, mix it up and not make us the bearer of all the world's problems when they are doing nothing for us in return. Pandering to your feelings shouldn't be a major concern of anyone holding that position.

I am a Libertarian Nationalist. America first, as little governmental regulation as possible.

Do you think he's a good president? Is it possible to be a good president and uphold the doooosh title at the same time? Thinking back to high school, I had teachers who I didn't like, and at the same time they were good at teaching the subject. If I learned the material and didn't like the teacher, is that good enough?
