Found this via Facebook, (link sent to me by a Texan fishing buddy) two days ago, and have not seen it on the regular forums here...
A nine page expose on how Mike Long cheated folks some $150,000 in prize money over a decade or so of contests and tournaments. He was recently secretly videotaped, by Kellen, snagging big bass with treble hooks for pictures/promos for his own social media publicity. (which has since been removed by Mike).

    Great job by Kellen.

I think Kellen shared it on his front page first. It's crazy!

It was published on sdfish.com and shared on Facebook. 1 or 2 threads on here about it.

Thanks for posting OM, atleast we have somewhere we can discuss the wow factor of all this here...

Not like it will change anything as his reputation obviously has been garbage for some time in the tourney world but wonder if he will try & come-up with some sort of official apology statement or explination / more lies in attempt to downplay Kellens article........
Its like, what is he thinking at this point?

You're welcome. I kept searching all the forums expecting this must have been posted here, it was over on Westernbass already, but it wasn't.

The major thoughts keep coming up (besides what will he do now- think crawl under a rock never to be seen again is my guess). 1. How IRONIC he secretly videotaped the Hagel's snagging bass to win tournaments (meaning he came in second), then he gets caught the same way, doing the same thing (except is was for his own glory photos, not a tournament). 2. How absolutely stunning Kellen got so many facts and pictures to absolutely bury this guy. And now that I think of it, a third. HOW STUPID DOES HE THINK WE ALL ARE? Fighting dead fish, snagging bed fish with young newbie partners, using photos of him with J. Kerr's bass to set more records around S. Calif., etc.. I just wonder, now, if John Kerr was not with Mike Long when I let them take over a bed fish I was fishing at Dixon (ended up being Dottie), if he would not have snagged her!!!).

It was posted on the SDFish home page. The home page had not been updated in so long that most of don't visit it. I was clued by the email from SDFish and was pleased to see that there were several new entries on that page. Hopefully it will continue to be updated. The article was a compelling read, and I appreciate all the work that must have gone into it. I hope Kellen gets the recognition that he deserves.

I remember a while ago a friend of mines dad said he walked up on Long at Poway hiding in the bushes trying to snag a bass off a bed. I was thinking yeah right there’s no way that guy throws swimbaits, the dude who saw this is stand up so I thought it must of been someone who just looked like Long because this guy isn’t the lying type.
    Go figure

That was Sandy. Met her she was working at the bait and tackle stand. It was 3 lbs or more diving weight. Not sure it was place there. I think the bass was 19 lbs without the diving weight. =^..^=

Yep! We actually manufactured a world record bass kit after that incident with complete instructions on the back. Had to run to Squidco yesterday to drop off a rod I’m having wrapped so stopped by Angler’s Arsenal and let them have my very last World Record Bass Kit. PRACTICE CATCH AND CRAM! LEAD IS A RENEWABLE RESOURCE!

For Sandy's bass I had heard that the stomach lining had grown over the weight. I worked at Miramar 1991-1995 or so, got along well with both her and her husband.

Dave Zimmerlee...not so much, had real problems with that guy.

Wasn't the Zimmerlee one, the one that was pretty much DOA and he had an old Zebco spincast rod? Kind of scooped up the old gal?
