Brian, good to meet you and Tony! How did you do?
Not sure I have ever seen El Caps shoreline so littered with boats!

Yes, nice to meet some of the SD fish crew. Apologies for having my shiny glittery gel coat boat blind you.. hahah.

So many boats for a Friday. Every 100 yards there was a boat or two up and down each arm.

Yeah that the worst that I have seen it for boats too. It was tough out there for us. Only 2 fish Nothing to write about for sure. We pounded bank shallow most of the day moving. Cranks, Jerkbaits, Chatters, Underspins, Jigs for nada from me. Got my one fish on a Neko rig. Hooked up on one with the crank but one shake and he was off. Time for an actual crankin' rod.

Not one to discourage anyone from one more rod, but they will still throw cranks! We got nothing on reaction baits. All Drop Shot, even otay michael !

Hey, what about that dink on third cast in the narrows? Glad I put it down fairly soon, after seeing that bite on Monday didn't produce till dusk. Then it was wide open.

    PS nice meeting you Tony.

Hey Michael, remember those wide open thrashing sessions right at dusk several years ago! 30 minutes of wide open fluke fishing!

After 10 minutes I got the hang of it again, don't fish it much, last resort, and better than no resort.
IMG_2764.jpg Here's Tony. We'd have a shot of Brian too but seconds earlier we'd told him what we were getting them on!!:emoji_smile::emoji_smile::emoji_sunglasses:

Fisheromen always schools me on his d/s techniques. He got two limits on 1/2 days 'work'.

Not to be outdone, I slowly increased my numbers once I'd married Paul's suggestions to observations of fish caught. Love bass fishing, it's a constant mental and physical game, that's always changing so you have to have your A game or end up with lackluster results. Not a sport for the lazy, not our style of fishing anyways, right? :emoji_sunglasses:

Those memories keep us hoping, and trying harder. Good times. Nice to bring up during the slower times on the water too, keeps you motivated.
