Oh yeah - that was a few days ago so I already forgot. Yes, those are long times. Again from what the EV enthusiasts are saying it takes overnight to get to 80% full - and much much longer to go to 100% - so I'm guessing those long charge times are for 100% - seems ridiculous to me to only charge to 80% every night - just doesn't give me the confidence if I need to suddenly go to the hospital/urgent care for my wife and start driving around places - but oh shoot, I'm low on power - now I need to look up some charging point on a an app, oh crap, my phone is too old to download that app, and when I find one then I need to sit and wait 20-40minutes to be able to go another what ? 50 miles?

We have a charging station here in Escondido by the Vons gas station on Center City Parkway.
Next time were over there I'll take some pictures and post them with the information on them.

I was driving down Orange Ave in Coronado yesterday and there was a big banner in the median that read “gas powered leaf blower ban effective Oct 1st.” Guess you gotta manually blow the leaves with your mouth now? Beats me

    Here's the pictures.
I talked to a guy that was working on the equipment there. He said where the session price shows zero it should read 1$. I guess that's just for hooking up to it. The price is 43 cents per kwh.
After the 10 minutes free period, your then charged an extra 40 cents per minute. I don't know what the middle picture means.
The bottom picture is the electrical equipment supplying power to the charging stations.
I guess how much you pay is how long it takes to charge the battery.
The white bandages on my head and neck is from inhouse surgery to remove skin cancer. Don't be afraid to wear your floppy hats peoples.
That sun is out to get you.

So let's do the math using this formula.
40 kWh at 43 cents at this charging station in Escondido would be $17.20. Plus one dollar to hookup and add 40 cents for every minute over the free 10 minutes. That would be hard to figure without actually charging your vehicle.
If they are changing 40 cents for anything over 10 minutes it would be safe to say that you'll be there awhile.
Good luck on your next road trip vacation.

Those “pumps” are too high...they should be low enough, you don’t have to get up off your San Francisco slippers (knees) to push the buttons... save scisports some energy

Maybe the second picture is the type of plug that you have that will fit you vehicle.

Probably different amp rating plugs or maybe just manufacture but agree.
