This is the governor the majority of this state wanted. $50B over ten years for a gas tax that never saw use for state infrastructure as promised. We're all lied to left and right. Then he royally rubs it in everyone's face when he decided to go out to dinner with a large group and hang out sans mask (something you and I can't do by his order), and no one bats an eyelash over it. A simple BS public apology and a verbal smackdown from our mayor. That's it. Again, the governor this state wanted.

 

And scisports still follows him around on his San Francisco slippers

Yes he definetly messed up big time. Also he had a press conference in which he and those around him were not wearing masks. Not a good look at all..

I was in one of them the other night....and I asked how is this any different than sitting INSIDE the restaurant and they left the front doors open ?

 

its probably worse because it gets packed in those things. People are finally starting to wake up and realize some of these rules make no sense and the science is starting to come out and prove peoples suspicions.

It appears as though he's purposely showing the citizens what he can do because he's the Grand Poobah of the state. The only surprising thing is that no one seems the least bit willing to rise up against this azzhole, ban together with several million others and march their azzes right up to his doorstep. This state seems content to be sheep.

Today is a work day for me. Holiday pay on top of the overtime pay. Banking it - cha' ching !! After that, I'm going to an undisclosed location to sit, eat, laugh, sing and drink openly with about 25-30 other people - and there will be a big sign at the door that reads, "MASKS NOT ALLOWED... LEAVE ALL MASKS IN THE FISHBOWL." And there will be 25-30 masks in the fishbowl, and there will be 25-30 people inside the "undisclosed location" having fun, laughing, singing, hugging, kissing, drinking, eating, bolstering their immune systems, enjoying life, and most importantly, enjoying their civil liberties while defying the azzhole Governor's Covid orders that he himself cannot seem to comply with. I get silly with warmth just thinking about it.

 

In a way, I think it was intentional, too. Just his little way of letting everyone know that only he can defy his orders. And the sheep keep on following.

My brother in law with Covid was discharged from the hospital yesterday, (thank you medical staff, front-line workers and – remdesivir) only to return home to a spouse and daughter who’ve tested positive. He’s hardly out of the woods. He was discharged to make room for patients with more severe cases.

We’re up to 262k fatalities now with some projecting 400k by the time this thing plays out and vaccinations are available. Is there a number in your mind when you’ll start taking this seriously?
