I’m proud to say that judge is from Imperial Valley.

I understand...right now....100% legal. The entire CCR of the mag ban regs was deemed unconstitutional. Drive to Nevada or AZ and load up.
Just like before and with the grandfathering prior to the attempted ban, there is no way to know who has what.

Dunno how they would reinstate a ban when a fed judge says no.

Ripping off 20 rounds is fun and loud in a M1A1 but it’s on the expensive side.

Ammo is outrageous nowdays with .22 LR being a ripoff and your supposed to kiss their ring when they have it in stock. Remember 5.56 mm when it was $5-$6 a box and 9mm being $7-8 a box for hardball with .45 cal being about $2 more and that's for 50 rds. I took my married daughter the other day to the range in Poway and we burned up 150 rds at about $15 a box (old stuff I had left over from just several years ago or so the price sticker said) Now with the gun show being kaput no cheap reloads. I miss banging away with my S&W Mdl 19 but just .38 Spls with lead 158 grainers is $18.95. Life ain't cheap anymore. :emoji_frowning2:

While it was legal before the decision was stayed....3 days, 1 million magazines were sold in CA.

The case is being appealed to a higher court...stay tuned.

But still much cheaper than what you have to pay in the store.

I know they are going to heavily regulate the purchase of ammunition soon. Even if you go to Arizona you have to declare it but I don’t recall ever seeing anything about bringing reloading components back from Arizona or ordering them online. What do you know?
