Good luck out there. I did not fish it as much as other years in the past. Yes...there are lots of those size bass in there. I tend to fish deeper than shallow when I am there and have best results with lighter line. I primarily use 6lb and 8lb test and fish usually in 18-30' of water. The water temp is probably getting cooler but hopefully there will still be some hungry fish waiting for you. MMs or Folkestad Specials for drop shots and pumpkin colored senkos free lined straight hooked or wacky rigged are my fav's.... Tight lines to you.

PS If it was summer, fishing deep in the tulles usually offer good results.
