83788B54-892D-4AC7-B993-2CE90A9D6FBE.jpeg Tired of getting blanked in the surf so I took the boys and their friends down to DAC late afternoon for a shot at tugging on something substantial.
Good bite from the rays on frozen mackerel. Steady action for me MadMaxFishing and Stephan Deambrogio . Left the tape at home, but definitely more than 100 inches landed. A few came unbuttoned. Was fun.

Absolutely. All chunky girls. Figured they were in spawn mode so we put them back gently. Watched all swim away...

Stoked. Thanks so much to Stephan Deambrogio for snapping that pic. I didn’t even know he was there, but came out awesome. Definitely one for the fishing scrapbook.

On that sandy flat right there in front of the parking lot.
There might have been a fire pit, if that helps...

I woke up today to "disagree's" on several posts from afishnsea. And now all that stuff has disappeared(been deleted I guess). Funny part is they were just fish reports....not sure there was anything there to disagree about. If your going to disagree a bit of explanation of what you disagree with would help. Otherwise I assume you're just going around pushing the red button for fun. That's troll:emoji_poop: to me

I don’t think there’s much to disagree with regarding your reports... You’re definitely doing it right boss.

Some people get territorial about the same dirt, docks, ramps and other crap we all prowl and fish... Some people are just clueless about everything anyway

You’re right. It’s not that hard though. Just communicate. We can maneuver around each other on party boats but can’t sort it out on land...? dumb. Shared the dock with 3 different dudes this morning. We even swapped sides no problem.

No issue, especially for spotties, IMO.. why catch feelings over a fish that isn't worth anything in the pan? Not to bad-mouth spotties, but if 90+% are short, even if someone wanted to keep one, what's the big deal, just reel up the next 12.5", right?
