Buying Good intro rod for offshore (yellowtail + schooling tuna) with reel

    I am looking for a used offshore rod with reel combo that I can use for yellowtail and schooling tuna when the opportunity arises. I don't get out there often enough to justify dropping $400+ for a good combo so I just want to have something that will get the job done.

    If you have something you are willing to let go in the north county area please let me know

A Garcia 7' SS4 (Great rods, many still cataching fish), new rewrap Conventional Chroomed guides, and an excellent shape + Penn 500 Jigmaster or Penn Squidder (#140) all serviced + new Carbontex wet drags and 9.0 cosmetically, Very clean, text me for pics if interested.

    I am not in NC but I have a 8’ pacific bay rod 15-30lb and a Torium 14 both in excellent condition for $280. Should be able to land any yt and schooling tuna. PM me if interested.
