    You know im all with protecting the seas but i think no fishing at all is going overboard. Why not cut limits in half or do slot limits i think its called.

    Wow, I see fishing as a basic right... I agree that we need to do more to protect/clean-up the ocean but banning fishing... There are so many ways they can just tweak existing laws to allow fishing while making things a bit more "channeling" like; increase min sizes, decrease bag size, limit 1 pole, limit bait types, etc... I've only been reading the forums for about a month, but I really like how everybody stresses C&R and using non-damaging/barbless hooks to prevent damage to the fish. Out of my whopping 6 catches in the past month, not one fish has been kept!
