    ....that is probably a pretty close estimate 2 1/2 pounds.

    there is no prize. well there was this one guy who was next to me. he came over with his scale and it went around 2.5 - 2.7 lb. i don't know if the scale was accurate or not,but his scale looks like this one

    I haven't caught anything near that big yet this year, so its fricken huge no matter what it wieghed.

    3 lbs Max but if you held it Father away from your Body you could say 5.5 lbs :laugh:

    If you ever really want to know try this next time:
    1. take some fishing line and cut it to the length of the fish
    2. then cut a piece to the length of the girth
    3. when you get home measure it in inches and use this formula
    Length x girth x girth divide by 800. It will be real close
    Your fish looks like 18 inces and I'll guess to say 11 inches girth so 18 x 11 x 11 = 2178 divide by 800 = 2.72

    good fish, I'll take 5 of those in any tourney.

    tight lines and strong knots.

    looks 3 1/4 but its also the most photogenic bass i have seen. perfect latteral lines

    Thats a spring scale...not the most accurate scales out there. They can build a bit of rust on them and give a false weight. If it said 2.7 on that scale, then i'd call it a 3#er.

    I'd say decent football 2-3 pounder. Where'd you get that because it looks like an average DVL bass as far as the size goes.

    The LMB was not caught from DVL.
