Every five years or so somebody imports primed empty long rifle cases, and if you look hard enough you can find them. I have never seen WMR cases though, my first order of 5,000 was from The Hunting Shack, This last order of 3,000 was someplace else and I can't remember the name. It used to be that the Schuetzen shooters were buying them to breech seat target rifles with. When that fell out of favor one supplier was sitting on 50,000 rounds of the stuff and a bunch of us got together and had a heeled mold made identical to the original UMC black powder bullet. It drops at 40 grains and I then pan lube them. I have a tool called a Paco Kelly Acu'rzr that is used to reshape the nose of loaded rimfire ammo to form various hollow points while keeping the bullet perfectly round. I made a custom top punch for it and use it as a seating and crimp die. Works awesome, but some have bought 22 rimfire seating dies from CH Tool. There were about a dozen of us throughout the country loading and shooting black powder 22's for a couple of years there.

Nice. Makes more sense. Even tho, some kinda curd-side pickup may be better than bringing people in but i guess an appointment system could be properly and respectfully managed. Hope they wear their gloves and keep their shop cleeeean!
This is why common sense and logic MUST continually be stressed. Good for Gore, ignoring obvious fallacies of "gun control" arguments and addressing common sense reasons to allow shops to operate.

I'm lucky. Neither the weed OR the gun store issues apply to me. Typical CA. Weed stores are open .. and gun stores closed. Makes perfect sense. This is where CA is going and this is just the beginning. Puff, puff give !

As a side note, Feinstein, Pelosi, Schiff and Harris ALL have personal firearms registered in their names. Do you think they'll be relinquishing theirs? Exactly. Keep your weapons.

Its just a bit of a felony. Badges that understand the needs of good citizens are usually okay looking the other way - as long as its not on Craigslist. :emoji_joy: Anyone selling rounds on Craigslist deserves to catch a felony.

I did not know that. I also think that is completely f'n ridiculous.

Is that yet another CA fascist, freedom hating, anti-American, liberal law or is that actually a federal deal?

I highly doubt that the intent of that law is to stop me from selling a 250 round box of ammo with maybe 15 rounds missing from it when I no longer have the firearm that it was bought for. If that is the intent of the law, then these freedom hating POSs are winning fellas...

I'll check just to make sure.. but I'm 99.999999% sure its a STATE law, not a FED law. I know that you can "share" ammunition with immediate family members.. but you can't with anyone else. And as far as actually "selling" it to another private citizen is concerned, that cant be done at all (I assume the bigger part of the reason is because the state wouldn't see their fair taxable share - you know its all about money with CA - nothing else really matters to them).

It's hard to believe that Nathan Fletcher Gonzalez "was" a Marine! He is now a spineless jellyfish pushed around by his wife! First he was a Republican, then he was an Independent, now he's a Democrat! It's Calunicornia, next he'll run as a Communist and probably get elected!!!

Can dealers offer ammo buy-backs or trades? If you own ammo that you or fam member cant use and you can't throw it away, or sell it..?

They shouldn't, but I know its happened because I was there. The buyer knew the seller personally. The boxes were all previously unopened if that matters - and I believe it did. It would be illegal for a licensed firearm dealer to resell buyback ammo from a private citizen. But they can resell overstock ammo turned in by police agencies. I'd never consider selling ANY ammo because the stuff is like gold.

Just give someone the ammo, then sell them an old lure for a couple hundred bucks.
