Are you on one of those new Hobie boards? If so, how do you like it?

Yes I am. I love it. 5-10 minutes to get in water. Been a freshwater guy my whole life. Wanted to try Saltwater so went on a Fishn Mission at Fastlane and got one. Take it out now almost every weekend, usually Mission Bay. Read about the yak ramp behind Liberty Station on this site so decided to give it a try today. Glad I did. One of these days going to venture over towards Coronado and check out that area. Still just learning the Saltwater tricks of the trade. Only been throwing 3" Big Hammer plastics on 6 lb test. That Yellowfin Croaker put up a nice fight before landing him. Next challenge will be Halibut hopefully.

Haha I remember when I did FishnMissions with Fastlane. I remember when I did my fist one, as soon as I got back to the shop, I put in an order for two Revo 11's. My only concern with the board is that it doesn't seem as seaworthy with it having a higher center of balance, and that it isn't as enclosed as a yak. I may be wrong though, I've never used one, only glimpsed at one at Fastlane couple weeks ago while ordering some accessories.

You are probably correct about the seaworthiness. I'm strictly planning on Lakes and Bays with mine. If I ever venture out to the ocean I would want to be in a true kayak for sure.

Even in a kayak, north bay gets pretty hectic with all the large boats coming by. The board looks great for still water like San Vicente or Mission Bay.
