Started the day out early on the water it was freezing cold with hurricane winds and a little wet. The fish were moving up shallow but the cold front put them on hold so we were catching em off rock bluffs and dropoffs. Using all kinds of plastics on 6lb texas rigged and dropshot. really hard to fish with winds like that but the guy in the black is a tournement angler from new york so rain or shine we were headin out. it was a productive day but not as good as i would have liked it to be for the guy on vacation.

These are from a unknown location caught on soft plastics and jigs. it was my brother in laws first time fishing for bass and i put him on a couple smaller fish. i was just looking for him to get bit and used to setting the drag and how to fish the fish. For someone to start off bass fishing using 4lb test and able to land a bunch was really exciting for me. Besides the first 5 fish he broke off haha he just had to relax and not worry about horsing the fish in and it was game on

Hate the weather, love the fish though. I'll have to get out there someday. Only been once. Gotta go again soon, but in better weather.

Each catch feel's much more rewarding when you get them in the nasty weather. All nice fish and a couple fattys in the mix.
Thanks for the report, I cant wait to hit dvl!!
