J street, pepper park , glorieta all have good launch ramps. You could either hit the slips or head out to open water.

MB try at the end of the bahia (santa barbara cove) or south shores. Like others have said for SD Bay, tidelands park, glorietta bay, spanish landing, pepper park, j street, coronado cays. Might as well have some fun on plastics for spotties. 1/4-3/8 oz texas rigs with 3in grubs/worms work pretty well. All the freshwater techniques will work, esp dropshot and ned rigs, spinnerbaits etc. Good time to give it a shot, not a lot else to do.

If you don't know what it is, toss it back.. always, there are saltwater species you can go to prison for, no joke.. smaller creature baits and grubs will get the spotties. Calicos will eat big slugs and swimbaits no problem. Sculpin, rays, mantis shrimp and a few other vermin can deliver a hell of a bad time in a hurry. Don't let it get you down, our bays are BOTH amazing fisheries, and don't get me started on the room out front.. enjoy the journey gents and ladies.. our bays are a fishery our local freshwater pales in comparison of, and our local offshore? One of the most amazing in the world...

I finally get my boat and myself running and now I can't use it on our lakes? River is to far for a one day run and about now it getting real hot hot there. I guess I have to sit a little longer until people realize that we fish from a distance from one another!!
