Was screwing around today catching Spotties in SD bay with the GF.
When she hooks up on something and it starts pulling string, Hmmm?
Something decent maybe? So she’s fighting it for a while and I’m thinking (being optimistic)
maybe a Hali, Or probably just a bat-ray, I’ve snagged more bay rays and other rays
than I can count fishing swim baits. Always snag them in the wings.
So she did a really good job, “ considering it was 10lb test”
She gets it up and there is no way to net it head first, so after missing it a couple of times
I decide to try from the wing tip. Awww,... now it fits!
Anyway, it must of weighted 20 to 25 lbs. As usual, snagged in the wing!
Anyway Fun Day out there off Coronado, Spotties were biting well.
    As always everything released.
