I fished hard yesterday at Barrett paddle all the way back to the end of Hauser . Ended up with over 20 fish with some real big ones mixed in. I did not have my scale but landed several 4, 5 and 6 lb fish. My biggest fish was pushing 8 lb. All these fish were caught in the afternoon the 3 largest fish were caught after 4 o clock . I only had a few fish in the morning. All fish were caught on green pumpkin Magic Cinco 5" in ,Texas Rig with a small weight on 10 pound fluorocarbon.. After wasting a lot of time trying different techniques spinnerbait ,topwater with only a few fish I finally switched to the Senko .If I would have committed to the Cinco first thing in the morning I would probably have had 50 fish. They say that the early bird gets the worm. I say give them the worm all day!!! God Bless America!!!

Agree. Senko was the answer for us as well last weekend. Blood red and black in color with 8lb floro leader. Wish we knew that earlier in the day.
