Wow!! Great job finding AND catching the fish. Fish fry coming right up!!
Plenty of fish out there... Lol
Always killing it out there. Nice job werf
Looks like an awesome trip Coach!
Lol, Local Spotty , the fish out there make it seem easy sometimes...
Saltnewbie ... A little slow, but still fun, good company helps..
Here was my carp catching trick many years ago.......in many parts of the SD River.
Toss some Niblets in the area you are fishing(thats not chumming...it was just practicing my throwing arm), then thread 4 or five on a small hook and cast to that area and hold on to your rod. May not work well in a flowing river. (I also quickly learned not to set the hook like it is a bass...ha ha)
Coach....does corn work in IV? I know you must have tried it....maybe years ago?
VinnyBass .. I have used corn with success for cats, carp, tilapia, bluegill and bass. It is my opinion corn has nowhere near the amino presence in the water as say, shrimp, making it much harder to find, for the fish. I have heard of PVA with dried milk and salt, has an enormous profile in the water. Just seems like a lot more work than just cutting a small shrimp chunk and putting it on a small hook..
Nice haul Bro!
Lmk if you ever want to head out there.. it's an interesting place
Like you was reading my mind... I will thanks!
