Now comes the fun part. Rigging her out. My suggestion to you would be to fish it a few times. Try to picture in your mind where you want to mount rod holders, ff, and whatever else you want. As you are fishing, see if the locations will work. You don't want your paddle hitting a rod holder or ff. That kind of thing. Maybe check out an already rigged yak to get some ideas. If you have any questions holla. I'll help if I can. Have fun.

Is the insert that runs through the hull all the way to the water line for a bait tank? Looks like you take off a cover/latch to expose it.

In addition to these MUSTS, I also take a gallon of water, an MRE that is always in my dry bag. A waterproof flash light. I also have a waterproof astronomy laser (the green ones). I figure in the off chance i get pulled out by a current and cant make it in by dark. I can at least use that as a signal. It uses the same batteries (which I also keep in my dry bag) as my head lamp.

Dude- having a laser is a BRILLIANT idea. If you were ever stranded out at night, and a rescue helo or plane was launched, that laser could reach them from 5 miles away. BRILLIANT!

Just don't shine it into the cockpit, you'll have more people show up then you want.

Larry, I'f I'm stranded at sea, I want as many people as possible to show up. So that laser is getting aimed right into the cockpit of whatever airborne vessel is within eye shot.

    To add on:
I strap a knife to my PFD for emergency use only. I don't use it to cut bait or anything else, its only there just in case I get wrapped up in some line or rope, or have to mano a mano a shark lol.

Also I bring a gatorade bottle to pee in. I have yet figured out the #2 situation, but luckily its never been an issue (any advice on this one?)
A sponge to pick up any remaining water that the pump can't get out.
