Hello! I'm looking to get into kayakfishing and have been on the hunt for the ideal kayak, which I found.. but unfortunately it has been discontinued and is not available ANYWHERE(ocean kayak trident 15/13 or ultra 4.7/4.3). The reason I'm so dead set on this particular one is because of the slim but long length(15 foot x 30 inch), and the fact that it has a bottom hatch where you can safety store your rods and reels from saltwater. These 2 conditions really are dealbreakers for me and I can't seem to find another kayak that fits these criteria, while being within the 1kish cost. Do any of you know of another kayak that would fulfill these needs? Appreciate it!

If you can afford it, get something with a pedal. I got into yak fishing decades ago and the paddle can be a pain in the butt. Putting the rod down to paddle, putting the paddle down to fish constantly. Night and day when you are maneuvering with your feet and fishing with your hands.
