Trolled 2 Rapala Xraps, red and white and a blue mackerel for 3 yellows. About 13 to 15 pounds each. No surface action seen. Word on the street is trolling Rapalas is the ticket right now.

What speed do you troll your X-Raps? What size were you using? I haven’t had much luck with trolling them on the yak. Thanks.

Speed from 13 to 18 (knots?)
Size about 8 inches( by memory, they were not my Raps)
    Depth of about 10 feet
Hope this helps you hook up

The 13 to 18 was probably the RPM's, that is the range I usually troll at. 4-6 mph seems to be the fastest I can go. Nice fish and thanks for the report.

Maybe I was looking at the wrong gauge. What ever gauge I was looking at said 13 to 18.
I’ll text my buddy and see what he says

Right on, thanks for the info. Great catches by the way! I’m usually trolling the X-Raps at about 3 knots so that’s about the same.
