Finally! They reopened for "other gatherings" last week but not fishing. Fishing kicks off on May 12th. Shoreline fishing only. No boats or dock fishing. They also stocked channel cats this week, which is rare because they usually do it during the first week of July for catfish season opener. I just might go out next weekend.

They haven't allowed private boats or tubes since the quagga mussel invaded Ca. waters.

Still haven’t been to Wohlford. Is there decent shore access close to the parking area? Will be targeting cats, but can’t walk that far since my knee is shot.

They have a section called 'senior shoreline' where you can back your car/truck right up to the water and fish. Trout guys do well there, not sure if it's a good area for cats though. Besides that all of the shore access requires at least a short jaunt.

Drove by it a couple of weeks ago, looked great. Wonder if you could just use your waders in the shallow end, that'd be cool.

None but immediate households, that I have heard! Church gatherings still banned!

You saying waders are OK as long as I am not going to pray?

Wholford updated their fish report. Looks like nobody didn't catch a thing worth being on the Whopper report. Boating will be allowed starting Monday (May 18th)!
