    I don’t see a “problem”?

One vehicle behind the silver truck, three vehicles parked on the right side of that truck and one in the front bumper about a foot away - done!

Silver trucker wasn’t planning to leave till after 6:30 pm anyways

The silver truck legitimately took about 2 parking spots that could have been for someone else. I know it's a long truck but at an angle towards the porta pottie, easy room for 2 maybe 3 vehicles

Exactly, just BOX that truck in as I said and see if he tries to get out in a jiffy, lol. Once he finds out, he's not able to get out, maybe Mr. Smarts will get the message and maybe others who might think it's a good idea next time, might re-think about taking up 5 spaces.

Somebody was nice enough to leave pretty clear instructions for him.

We need some baseball chalk to mark out the parking. Nobody is doing that on purpose, just too excited to hit the water then think about how he’s parking and how he’s screwing up. And what happened to the sign by the launch ? I personally brought that and installed it.. I think I got lucky that it lasted a few years. Guessing someone used it for a shovel cause they got stuck. I know a couple of guys on here who could use some heavy equipment and dial the parking in. We need to access the finger off to the right. We used to park 6-8 down there too. Surprised to see a not so crowded Pigs on Saturday. You gotta like that with the Temp in the 70’s …. Cheers!

Parking will always be a problem at the Big B. There are a pair of dozers up at Blosoms Road on the way in. If they keep drafting the lake there will be plenty of exposed shoreline to push some dirt around to expand the parking at Pigs and the dam. It seems the revenue stream is very healthy from the continued sell out of tickets for the first 2 months. A continuation from where it was left off last season. I will send a email to the City requesting the consideration for the idea. Any other thoughts?

Toolbox had a great idea of laying down parking spaces with baseball chalk. Plain and simple.

No need to install wooden or concrete or rubber bumpers.

Had a boat rental today and passed by pigs and it looked like it was probably a circus in the morning. Couldn't tell if the parking by the portapotty got screwed up, but cars looked like it reached damn near the top of the hill.

It wasnt that bad. People parked as well as they could; just lots of cars. If the fishing continues to slow down as much as it has then I expect the parking to get better in a few weeks.

I wrote a email to the City asking if they would consider pushing some dirt around at Pig's point and the dam area. With them drawing the lake down it would expose more shoreline and also existing roads. Also the sand and ruts along with the steepness of the roads seem to be a issue. Stay tuned.

I am interested in what the city has to say, but my concern is that they say yes, it take five times as long as they say it will and they close off pigs point access (foot and auto) until they are done for "safety".

IMO, this is a project that should be done out of season.

With the Honor Camp now closed they need to make some parking down at the end of Pine.. that’s an easy win!
