Saw Rodney M's vid recently, thought I'd give it a go. Got there around 7am, 3in swimbait, pegged 1/2ounce bullet, a few dinks burning across the grass. Start of incoming tide. What got my attention was the amount of bait and the vinas that were busting and chasing all over. Never seen that much action spread around. Unfortunately didn't pack my jerkbaits or topwater. Action stopped when sun became dominant on the water. Out by 8:30 :emoji_metal:

Instead of burning across the grass, why not hop it through the junk and put it right in their face? I have a few billion fish logged doing it that way ;)
Nothing wrong with the burn, but the bigguns are laying low, and you haven’t had a spottie battle on your hands til you try to dig momma grump from the grass. Mucho fun!

Good. And it’s almost that time of year where the minus tides are in the late afternoons(during moon phases), that’s when you’ll find me diggin them out. Keep an eye out for “invite” posts I make, then I’ll show you what I do(and where).

Seems like a lighter bullet weight would work better but that’s just me.
